NUTRIENT SHOT
When winter is taking hold, why not ensure you get a daily shot of immune boosting nutrients?
This is my lemon, ginger, turmeric and cayenne pepper shot. Full of anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and warming nutrients.
LEMON GINGER TURMERIC SHOT
Per shot
1/2-1 Organic unwaxed lemon
1/2-1inch Ginger
1/2inch Turmeric
Pinch Cayenne pepper
Dash Apple cider vinegar (optional)
Juice lemons, ginger and turmeric (be careful with the turmeric as it will colour everything!).
When done, add in a dash of cayenne pepper and apple cider vinegar if you chose to include it.
NB. If you do not have a juicer you can make this in a blender and just add some water. It’s strong, sharp and delicious, a perfect way to start the day.
It keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days.
To make it easier you can make a larger batch, freeze it into ice cubes, take 2-3 cubes out at night to defrost and drink first thing in the morning.
